Description of the automated optical pattern recognition and calculation system, VIDEO CALCULATION SYSTEM (hereinafter – VCS).
Software VIDEO CALCULATION SYSTEM is intended for use at industrial companies, which use conveyers in their production circle for transportation of single type products.
The purpose of VCS is optical pattern recognition and automated calculation of products.
The system has special software for automated identification of items, which is customized by an operator for identification of one or several items before work. Quick resetting of the system for automated identification of one or several objects is foreseen as well (in the course of 5 minutes).
VCS is switched into a local network and information can come in a real time regime to any PC or some PC’s at once, including manager’s PC. Integration is possible as well: automated sending of calculation results into a system of automated control and accounting (for example, into accounting software 1Ñ).
It is possible to archive, view, analyze video information and calculate results at any time.

VCS consists of N modules, where N is a number of lines at a plant. The scheme of one VCS’ module is the following:

- VCS’ module consists of:
- controller (on the basis of an industrial computer, protection type IP66, temperature diapason from 0 C till +55 C)
- video camera (anti-vandal, protected from putting off focus control, protection type IP66, temperature diapason from -10 C till +75 C)
- software, which is installed in customers’ PC.
ÑWith the help of controller’s keyboard a user can change type of products calculation (after input of a password). A user can also cancel calculation on a production line without stopping video archivation. Cancelling of calculation is expedient, if routine maintenance is carried out at a plant in a zone of a video camera control, otherwise the system can calculate casual items, which came into the video camera control zone.
